MOUNT KENYA CLIMBING

Mt Kenya is the highest Mountain in Kenya, and the second-highest in Africa (after Mount Kilimanjaro), The main summits are the twins Batian and Nelion, which can only be reached by means of technical climbing, and the third highest summit, Point Lenana, (4985m) - is glaciated but accessible to walkers, making the walk around point Lenana the most beautiful expedition in the East African mountains NAIROBI-ARUSHA-MOSHI SHUTTLE BUS
The Shuttle is a scheduled Shuttle service serving clients travelling the Nairobi - Arusha - Moshi circuit and back. We have two daily departures at 08:00 hrs and 1400 hrs departingNairobi and Arusha simultaneously.
The savannah ecosystem lies about 90km from Nairobi. The ecosystem mainly comprises of the mountain rising to 2,776m above sea level. On the sides of the mountain are V-shaped valleys and ridges with little vegetation; however a thick forest occurs within the crater. Major wildlife attractions include buffaloes, elands, lion, leopard, Bushbucks, common zebra, giraffe, grant gazelles, Thomson gazelles and many other antelopes. Other attractions include the extinct volcano and the crater forest, views of Lake Naivasha and the Great Rift Valley.
